Gypsy is an Australian Shepard born to parents on a working ranch in Texas. Her unusual coloring is called Blue Merle, and although it is not a dominant color, it is not uncommon among Aussies. She could have been named Calamity Jane or Belle Starr because her personality is reminiscent of the women of the Old West. Gypsy possesses all the drive and personality that makes these rough and tumble dogs famous as great herding dogs, but she is as sweet as honey. Rather than herding farm animals, Gypsy focuses her energy on rounding up missing persons. On the other end of the leash is Gypsy's partner, Jerry Seevers. Gypsy is Jerry's second search dog with MARK-9. Remember, says Team Gypsy, real dogs don't have tails!
