Hoss is a tri-colored, traditionally marked, purebred Border Collie born in East Texas. Both of Hoss's parents were champion herders, and Hoss is only three generations from Great Britain. Hoss lives his life to play ball, search for people and wrestle with his adopted four-legged sister Molly. What makes Hoss a great SAR dog is his obsessive compulsive behavior, typical of Border Collies. Hoss loves everyone and being part of MARK-9 gives him the opportunity to put his best skills to work finding lost victims.
