Jonathan has always enjoyed contributing to the community through volunteer service. He received EMT-B training in Sewanee, TN, eventually rising to the rank of Captain in the Sewanee EMS. In South Carolina Jon was a member of the Oakway Volunteer Fire Department upon completion of South Carolina's Interior Firefighter Certification course. He recently completed WEMT training through Wilderness Medical Associates.

Jon hopes to soon complete his Level 1 certification for MARK-9 and become a full FAS team member. Outside of volunteer work Jon is a Senior Systems Engineer with Raytheon, and lives with his lovely wife Martha in Lake Highlands.
