Terry is a retired Police Detective and helicopter pilot with a long history of Search and Rescue with horses and helicopters. Terry had not been involved in K-9 work until he joined MARK-9 but it has worked out wonderfully, and he enjoys it very much. Hoss is Terry's first K-9 partner, and they seem to be in perfect sync. In fact, Terry and Hoss have worked out a method of working together that's almost telepathic. Terry is one of the team's core instructors and teaches several disciplines.
