TRAILING

Trailing Teams use a scent article and the last known location to follow the odor of a missing person to their current location.  Trailing K9s are able to distinguish and follow the smell of a specific person through wooded and urban areas.  Trailing K9s can reliably follow the scent of a missing person hours, and sometimes days after they have gone missing.  The dogs are trained to follow scent through woods, congested city centers, and even through water.
